More Distress Stain Ideas-Stamp Using Stains 2

Hi Everyone,
It's me, Karen, and I am back with part 2 of the Stamping with Distress Stains Tutorials.  This project uses the Small Fish form Seascapes-Fishes Set.

List of Materials:
Seascape-Fishes Stamp set
Hello Sentiment from Verses-Special Delivery Set
Distress Stains: Faded Jeans
Distress Ink: Faded Jeans
Stickles: Aqua
Watercolor Paper
Ranger Distressing Tool
Cardstock in 2 shades of Blue
Ribbons

Again, I stamped with Distess Stains. For this sample I stamped on Watercolor Paper.  The stain is applied to the rubber stamp in  a swiping and daubing  motion.

I stamped three of the Fishes on the watercolor paper.

And, this is what the fishes look like.  Love the soft watercolory look to the images.  Dry the images with a heat gun.  Trim the piece to the desired size.

Now, we will add more color to the background with Faded Jeans Distress Ink applied with the Distressing Tool..

And, this is how it looks now.

To finish the card, stamp the Hello sentiment in black ink and layer with dark medium blue CS.  Attache to a card base made from Medium blue CS.  Apply Stickles here and there to simulate air bubbles.

I wrapped a glittery dotted ribbon around the card.  I tied a big bow with blue ribbon and before pulling it tight, I slipped a piece of the dotted ribbon into the knot.  Then pulled it tight.

For the inside, I stamped one image and layered with CS.

Here is the sneaky peek for tomorrow's Tutorial Part 3.  Ooohhh.

Hope you are enjoying learning  new ideas for using  your  Distress Stains.  It is always fun to learn how to make your supplies do double duty.  Have a great day and join us tomorrow for Stamp using Distress Stains part 3.
